The Common Room: Non-Mental Health Chat

Post by SecretBipolar »

Greetings!

Welcome to The Common Room! This is your space to hang up your "patient" or "recovery" hat for a while and just be you.

We spend a lot of time on this site talking about the heavy stuff, but we are all more than our conditions. This thread is for the everyday, the ordinary, and the fun things that have nothing to do with mental health.

We've posted some Icebreakers below to get started with!
  • The "Small Joy" Report: What’s a song, a book, or a TV show you’re currently obsessed with?
  • The Hobby Corner: Did you see a cool bird today? Did you cook something that actually tasted good? Did you find a weirdly shaped potato? Tell us!
  • Pet Tax: If you have a pet, please describe them (or post a photo!). We want to hear about the cats, dogs, hamsters, and emotional-support goldfishes.
  • Random Debates: Does pineapple belong on pizza? What is the superior biscuit for dunking in tea? (Let's keep it civil, folks! /j)
The Only Rule:

Try to keep this specific thread a "Diagnosis-Free Zone." If you need to vent about a hard day or ask for med advice, please head over to our support hubs. This room is for the "everything else" of life.

What’s one thing making you smile today—or one thing you’re looking forward to this week?
Very best regards,
SecretBipolar

Hi

Lovely topic again

Funnily enough I have two pets - both cats, brother and sister rescued from the RSPCA.

They are very fun and relaxing to play with - plus the internet is full of them as I am now aware.
