[Forum Updates] Private Messaging

Post by SecretBipolar »

Greetings

Please be aware that a decision has been taken to disable private messaging until further notice.

Why are you doing this?

We are doing this, for now, until the community is further established with mainstream moderations across the forum. This change will result in further protection of our users from any abuse or messages that may be detrimental to their health.

When are you turning this back on?

We recognise that this will be a inconvenience for some of you as we acknowledge that private messaging has its benefits, especially where a rooted one to one connection has been made with another person.

We will look to enable this feature once we have wide and mainstream moderation across the forum that reasonably balances a) forum activity and b) timezones (as we appreciate we may attract a wider than UK audience).

I need to air my thoughts on this matter

If you have any objections to this or have recommendations on how to integrate this into our community, please visit our Post Website Suggestions forum and create a topic for discussion where we can review your thoughts.

Thank you for your understanding regarding this matter - we trust you understand.
Very best regards,
SecretBipolar
